    Actually, this sketch originated from Dec. 26, 1978. The first "Fawlty Towers" episodes were produced and aired in 1975. Plus Benny's sketch had a "Manolo" in it. In a way, though, Mr. Hill's character seemed sort of like a Spanish version of Basil Fawlty.
