yea they are stupid but if u want right click options u can just hold the click there for a few second or press the cover button, but yea...they should make a dam 2 button mousepad

two things:
the EEE PC has a two button mousepad, not one.
and you can have the "page up" and "page down" with the "fuction" button, and not navitage throu the webpages tapping the "down" button over and over like the guy on the video.

The Might Mouse is on a Laptop???? Apple laptops have one button! That is called Stupid but at least they made Steve Job keep the revers T on the keyboard.

Wow this is the most stupid comment I've seen. If you knew anything about Apple you would know that their mouse buttons are similar. Since the mighty mouse actually have 5 programmable buttons.

Yes, this articulate, technically savvy Brit is stupid indeed. Speaking of stupidity, I bet you didn't know that most sentences require verbs, as in "The guy IS stupid" vs. "The guy stupid." Also, plural nouns require verbs that agree in number, so "There ARE palm resters" is the non-idiot way o saying "There IS palm resters." Stupid is as stupid does, as Forrest Gump used to say.

i think they are selling the laptop to make money, who cares,anyway its got a bigger screen than an iphone and archos which is cool but is there a sd slot to increase memory from 2g to 16g

you can do more with the asus. (iv seen all kinds of cool things on it) if i wanted a laptop then ill buy one for my needs and if i want to give a kid in africa a laptop then ill give money, and not buy a laptop i dont want.

i kinda agree with "gonepishing" but i think they are selling the laptop mostly because people dont like giving money away... they want something in return, thats why they are selling the laptop, instead of just using your money to buy one for the kids in africa

The video states that the EEE PC is like Apple with one button. This is totally untrue. It is a rocker button, you press on the far left side and it clicks. If you press the right side it clicks a right click.

Apple one button is still the biggest joke. What form or function? Steve Jobs make a rocker button!

also explain to me why im being critisized for my original comment was NOT complaining about the lappie in question until I was told that buying a thinkpad is wrong unless it gives money to orphans in africs or something...

well thats ok be asus and OLPC don't care about you either, if you want a powerful laptop then buy one but don't complain when a laptop which isn't designed for YOUR needs doesn't satisfy you.

something that uses 20 times more battery power and costs 5 times as much. Sure it's better for you today, but it's not better for all the children getting better education tomorrow.

It's not for you anyways, it's for the children. But there will be olpc technologies in your next laptop. Such as better screen, flash based memory, Linux and longer battery life. All those things are thanks to the OLPC project.

OLPC is available in all colors. Asus is double the price, 5 times shorter battery life.

Stop thinking about yourself, start thinking about the children.

OLPC is a billion times better than Eee. Asus should put fanless CPU, LED backlit LCD with sunlight readabillity mode, DCON chip and so much more to really lower the price.

Where can I buy an OLPC? Not around here, that's for sure. It could be the greatest thing since sliced bread, but if you can't actually buy one, it's not much good, is it?
