By MisterRKOwned [Affiliate User] 1203749256 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeyea they are stupid but if u want right click options u can just hold the click there for a few second or press the cover button, but yea...they should make a dam 2 button mousepad
By gino800 [Affiliate User] 1203034988 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removethe ibook I had had 1 button.
are you gonna tell me I'm blind?
two things:
the EEE PC has a two button mousepad, not one.
and you can have the "page up" and "page down" with the "fuction" button, and not navitage throu the webpages tapping the "down" button over and over like the guy on the video.
The Might Mouse is on a Laptop???? Apple laptops have one button! That is called Stupid but at least they made Steve Job keep the revers T on the keyboard.
By UConnBBall [Affiliate User] 1202731408 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveWow this is the most stupid comment I've seen. If you knew anything about Apple you would know that their mouse buttons are similar. Since the mighty mouse actually have 5 programmable buttons.
By anemptygun [Affiliate User] 1202724610 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveYes, this articulate, technically savvy Brit is stupid indeed. Speaking of stupidity, I bet you didn't know that most sentences require verbs, as in "The guy IS stupid" vs. "The guy stupid." Also, plural nouns require verbs that agree in number, so "There ARE palm resters" is the non-idiot way o saying "There IS palm resters." Stupid is as stupid does, as Forrest Gump used to say.
By Bytnyk [Affiliate User] 1202481026 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removei think they are selling the laptop to make money, who cares, anyway its got a bigger screen than an iphone and archos which is cool but is there a sd slot to increase memory from 2g to 16g
By steven2122002 [Affiliate User] 1202375555 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeyou can do more with the asus. (iv seen all kinds of cool things on it) if i wanted a laptop then ill buy one for my needs and if i want to give a kid in africa a laptop then ill give money, and not buy a laptop i dont want.
By avalableusername [Affiliate User] 1202316604 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removei kinda agree with "gonepishing" but i think they are selling the laptop mostly because people dont like giving money away... they want something in return, thats why they are selling the laptop, instead of just using your money to buy one for the kids in africa
By avalableusername [Affiliate User] 1202316239 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeso the guy on the show stupid because there is palm resters
By friendstergeek [Affiliate User] 1201958145 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThe video states that the EEE PC is like Apple with one button. This is totally untrue. It is a rocker button, you press on the far left side and it clicks. If you press the right side it clicks a right click.
Apple one button is still the biggest joke. What form or function? Steve Jobs make a rocker button!
then explain to me why they are selling it to us instead of just asking for money.
also explain to me why im being critisized for my original comment was NOT complaining about the lappie in question until I was told that buying a thinkpad is wrong unless it gives money to orphans in africs or something...
right...
well thats ok be asus and OLPC don't care about you either, if you want a powerful laptop then buy one but don't complain when a laptop which isn't designed for YOUR needs doesn't satisfy you.
By damcw [Affiliate User] 1201516841 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removequite frankly, I dont care about the children.
I want a laptop, and I don't want to buy one for someone else, sue me.
battery power... uh huh, I live in a world where there are poweroutlets everywhere, thats NOT a problem.
"Please! Won't someone think of the children??"
By bruceclarkemexico [Affiliate User] 1200757194 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removesomething that uses 20 times more battery power and costs 5 times as much. Sure it's better for you today, but it's not better for all the children getting better education tomorrow.
By Charbax [Affiliate User] 1200756716 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removesounds good =)
im just gonna buy some discount thinkpad, something with a larger keyboard that's functionsl
It's not for you anyways, it's for the children. But there will be olpc technologies in your next laptop. Such as better screen, flash based memory, Linux and longer battery life. All those things are thanks to the OLPC project.
By Charbax [Affiliate User] 1200752653 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveOLPC is available in all colors. Asus is double the price, 5 times shorter battery life.
By Charbax [Affiliate User] 1200752589 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveNo it's not.
By Charbax [Affiliate User] 1200752513 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveStop thinking about yourself, start thinking about the children.
OLPC is a billion times better than Eee. Asus should put fanless CPU, LED backlit LCD with sunlight readabillity mode, DCON chip and so much more to really lower the price.
Where can I buy an OLPC? Not around here, that's for sure. It could be the greatest thing since sliced bread, but if you can't actually buy one, it's not much good, is it?
By bruceclarkemexico [Affiliate User] 1200752195 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Remove499$ in AUS should i buy?
