This is an animation short I created in 3D for one of my latest vehicle designs - the Cobra Venom V8. The car has been designed as a spiritual successor to the classic AC/Shelby Cobra. More can be seen at the website: http://www.cobravenom.co.uk .

I solely produced the 3D CG animation over a number of months using Maxon Cinema 4D. Render times were enormous, mainly down to environment reflections on the model. I have utilised the score from the movie 'Paycheck' by John Powell (© Dreamworks SKG) in the animation, as it felt particularly fitting.

    Awesome work man! It is great to see another Cinema4D and car enthusiast on here! I made a car animation using cinema4D too a while ago. it is funny how we share almost the same way of presenting the car!

    Thank you. I was primarily wanting to showcase the design in motion, putting it in various environments. I never had a specific story in mind - the last exterior shot was an afterthought, utilising a scene I'd built in 3D for some still renders. I'm not an animator, so my choices were limited.

    After 2:00 a bit of an anti-climax. Nice road texture though.

    A good looking car design.
