euro n world cup r both better n harder competitions tha, copa. erm ronaldo is world player of the year, now that is fact. to a certain extent a agree about his shortcomings bout disappearing in big games but i don't think a comparison to robinho is fair, ronaldo is in a much higher league. i think city fans are just blinded by there loyalty to city and think this is a valid comparison. dude those 44 goals last season aren't all against just one or two crappy teams!

Robinho can do it on the big stage ronaldo can't, fact! Robinho was player of copa america last time. I don't even think I seen ronaldo at the world cup or euro's he's that S**t against good players he goes missing, everyone knows this.

well how robinho performs against the best defenders is a matter of opinion till we actally see him in action against them. but i'm sorry friend i think u are severl over rating robby, he's not "that" good. u make him out to be some sort of messiah, what he inspririn city to? 11 in the league having lost more games than won!!! sorry dude i respect ure reasoning to make the best out of a bad situation but u got just ova 4 days to bring in some more talent without which you not gonna improve!

no, i don't think ronaldo will ever be able to score 40 plus again, but 20+ certainly. lets see how many robinho's got at the end of the season. in fact lets see if he's a city player at the start of next season! i'll tell u what, so long as ronaldo keeps scoring and providing goals i don't care about his step overs not working! watch the highlights from the chelsea game, he made terry and balletti look like fools on more than once occasion, cud robinho do that! and against chelsea!

so what if u do, don't be a fanboy. just because u support city doesn't mean you can't call it as it is. ronaldo is awesome and robinho is not at that standard yet. if you had kaka now then there would be a discussion. for me the 2 best players in the world are kaka and messi. it would have been a pity if kaka came to city though, a lpayer like that shouldn't be playing in division one next season ;-P

yeah but robinho's never won half the awards ronaldo has or scored 40+ in a season. i don't think ronaldo can be put in the same league as the even kaka or messi but robinho hasn't accomplished anything of note yet. the la liga title he was involved with was hardly the robinho show, and he hasn't specifically done well for brazil either.
