I believe he was the first country star to use drums. I think Buck's string of #1's would have comtinued had Don Rich(the guy on Buck's right) not been killed in "74.

Those 2 made awesome music and one hell of a team. I love buck he is great. Don had perfect pitch and timing with buck and they really were awesome together. And much like the song....they are together again. God bless ya buck.
