Arlo put together a benefit festival in the fall of 1975 for The Worthington Clinic. He invited friends to join him and it was a great time! Steve Goodman was there, Arlo's band Shenandoah backed him up for the first time. Someone asked for "The Motorcycle Song" Here it is!

No problem 'garlicjoey'. It was a great concert except for the time they passed out some "Washington County" apples and a few fools in the crowd decided to throw them around. Great concert with some fine fiddling from a State Champion also! Can't remember her name but perhaps Mrs.G does. ...Jackie, do you remember? Gotta get hold of Dave at Arlonet to see if he wants the stills I have.

  • This was a benifit ...

This was a benifit concert for the Worthington Health Center, Worthington Massachusetts. Concert was held October of 1975. I was one of the photographers in the foreground. I have an extensive photo collection from this concert. Though it was televised on the local PBS station (channel 57) ... I didn't know there was footage still out there! If I can be of other help, post it. Mike Cooney and Steve Goodman were also among those who played that day.

Wow! I didn't realize there was film footage of this concert! This was my fist offical concert at the age of 4. My GrandFather was in charge of security at this event and after the concert Arlo was kind enough to take a photo with him and a bunch of my family (me excluded-darn!) Thanks for the great post!
