All the remembered fighters - the one's who are remembered with fondness and admiration are the ones who have conducted themselves decently - both in and out of the ring. Tyson fails on both counts. As great as it was to see him fight, and we all enjyed his fights. The problem was his behaviour. He knew how important it was for him to conduct himself the right way and he failed - miserably.

Yeah he was good right up to the point when Buster Douglas pulverzed him in 1990, then Evander Holyfield beat the S**t out of him in 1997, and of course Lennox Lewis's destruction of him. At his peak, of course he was a great fighter - if things went his way. If they didnt he'd resort to bullying tactics or plain cheating. He couldnt handle a fighter who was not intimidated by him and fought back like Holyfield and Lewis. As soon as this 'aura' was exposed later, he got beaten regularly.

define fake. I do believe that tyson was feared so much that a boxer would take almost any opportunity to end the fight without loseing too much face. I do think that the event you described was cowardly, but not fake.

I kinda liked the way that happened as the song closed. Somehow it made Tyson's demise against lewis seem almost complimentary. That's an achievement!

3:18 best punch... words couldnt describe tyson but his actions could he was truly without a doubt the greatest boxer of all but i wish he never grew old and just kept boxing and i would have loved to see him go ali,foreman,marciano just to prove every1 wrong that thinks he couldnt beat them he moved to quick punched to hard and swung 2 fast
