Alabama justice is hardcore. A life sentence? There's got to be more to the story.

I smiled when he said he craved honey buns. I do think it is wrong for him to have such a harsh sentence especially seeing as he didn't hurt anyone. Child murderers get 10years and he gets life for stealing!

In Norway, the guy would probably do community service, or do a couple of months in a minimum security prison, i.e. not even locked up!
It is so sad, the US system of punishment. Kill them or lock them up for life seems to be the American "final solution" to all crime. What:s next?

life imprisonment for auto theft and threatening a judge thats unbelievable not to mention disgusting. I watched another jail doc were a guy got 5 yrs for shop lifting. makes me glad to live in uk.

There is no question that the guy committed a criminal act; however, such act is in no way shape or form deserving of a life sentence.

In fact, I would have to opinion that this poor dumb bastard's sentence is a clear violation of the Eighth Amendment of the United States Constitution which states.... "Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted."
