Not that they change drummers alot, Marco replaced Hannes, but I didn't count on Marco staying for a while, just in for a while to broaden his horizons a little I think. Now Romain Goulan is drumming and will be on the new album. I'm sure he'll be around for a while.

A7X is halfway decent, music-wise. But the names of their band members are so ridiculously cliché and idiotic... seriously, how are you supposed to take a band seriously with names like, "Synyster Gates", "Zacky Vengeance", "M. Shadows", and "Johnny Christ"? It's almost sickening how F**king stupid they are. What's the drummer's name? "Mr. Death"? "Doom F**ker "? "Evil, Evil, Evil Bastard From Hell"?

really, come ON now, Necrophagist is on a technical level of brilliance. This isn't like A7X, which is for most people really listenable. Necrophagist focuses on the actual music, this isn't about melody, this is about metal at its most devastating musical potential. this stuff is caustic, but at its core, it's at a level unheard of. for metal bands to be that proficient and creative with atonality requires an innate understanding of music and how to manipulate it to disturb the listener.

A7X isn't THAT bad. Er, they at least didn't used to be that bad.
But trying to say that they're actually better than Necrophagist (or any real metal band for that matter) is blasphemous.
