Luge Crash Videos.

I crashed out in Austria (Igls track) Dec 06. Hit a wall doing 40-50mph. Broke my femur, tibia and fibula in my left leg. My ankle is permanently disabled now and I'm about to have an ankle fusion to permanently fix it and kill the pain. When a luge run goes well, its the biggest rush around. You just have to live with the consequences.

Finally someone has invented a sport more pointless than football.

Bobsleigh is the best.. You just dont want to go down on one of those..

I had a nasty burn to my arse and back when sliding down a grass hill on a piece of cardboard. Much worse than any of this !

Luge is the fastest and most dangerous sliding sport and it is acutally much harder than you'de think.

It really does take a special breed of athlete to propel yourself down an icy pathway with nothing but a helmet on. I have total respect for this sport. I'd like to try it, but maybe more on the bobsledding side (more protection). Great video.
