They didn't have many hits. In fact, I was arund 15 when this song came out. I remember another one but the name fails me... They were out of NY. The actual chick "Empress" didn't sing the song. Another girl did named Heidi something. They eventually moved to Salsoul and did a few songs but nothing major.

One of the hardest club hits to find! Why i dont know cause when this came out it was pumpin on everybodies boom box! Some one tell me, are they from england and did they have any other hits?

I was a kid when this song came out, but I remember it well. The bass is kicking hard and vocals are slamming as well. I finally got a copy of the original and trust me, I do play it LOUD!!!!! Prelude rocked in the early 80's and I'm glad it was a New York based record company.
