Anyone that would talk S**t about a 9-second run is an asshole. At those speeds traction is more of a problem than horsepower. Technically larger (American) engines are capable of producing more power but the high torque makes the wheels break loose. The Supra has very high horsepower and moderate torque.

i agree and i dont agree yes american cars do have the huge ass ci and S**t but your technolegy is not right fpr it japan has america faded in tech right know u have huge motors we have duel cam and huge turbos but they do have a dohc conversion layout for sbc and bbc soi would like to see what u can do with it

it runs 7.9 secs now that's the best time and boost logics supra is running 7.5 i think now.

The fact that it's street legal is impressive. It's not a 7sec car, it only ran 9sec@165mi/hr. My camaro can do a 9.8-10.1s, but it's not as tricked out as that car. Still an awesome car!!
