Ya, plus the other video they did with Gondry (the lego animated one) required them just to shoot very short clips, they didnt have to participate all that much as all the work was done with the legos later. This on the other hand must have been tedious to make.
Quite a big contrast in the effort they had to put into their videos, both by Michel Gondry.

They must've been really tired after finishing this video.

Micheal Gondry has some serious directing skills.

This was achieved by first setting up a trail of bass drums. Then, Meg would be filmed performing a single beat on the last drum in the line, followed by the removal of that drum. Meg would then proceed to the next drum, play another beat, and so on .
