i practice real aikido, translation dont mean true aikido or best aikido,it is from Serbia and in our translaton it means urban or real situations aikido,it is a mix of aikido and jiu jutsu made for self defense, and its not like aikikai, here you must control, brake an arm,leg of kill opponent, its made bu Ljubomir Vracarevic and its very extreme, not like other aikido where you dont harm your opponent, this is for police, army ...
plz... be not so rude... i think they show good techniques, but i donot like the name
By 'Excellent', I mean, an excellent example of why there are no aikido guys in MMA or UFC.
It's hard to find guys willing to fall down at the mere sight of an aikido adept.

Great Performances Branko !!!!

SORRY, I SUGGEST NINJUTSU
By maceioninjutsu [Affiliate User] 1225577027 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThe first pair are...blah. The second demonstration, with the sensei and Mr. Zebra Pants, however, is one of the best demons I've ever seen. Aikido is regularly derided for preparing students for only the most artificial of attacks, but in this instance, no one's screwing around. Awesome.

By Ueichen [Affiliate User] 1224975445 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removefirst pair is very disapointing. two beginners demonstrating is the worst you can do. they try hard, but it reflects poorly one the sensei. the second pair, sensei and uke, was not so bad. but please get rid of the advertisements on the dogi!!!! it goes against every possible thing about aikido.
By 48thRonin [Affiliate User] 1224929851 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI do MMA, that`s why i said that, i used to practice Karate, tae kwon do, ninjitsu... and the first day in MMA , they really kicked my ass. a couple of times they tryed to take away my ipod , in the street, but mma has been very effective.
By penpen320 [Affiliate User] 1224800291 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveAll I can say is that one technic save my ass once. This guy was swinging a baseball bat, aiming for an homerun with my head. One reflex:Mukae Daoshi (Aikibudo technic and not Aikido, but it is similar). Yes it is useful. Fake? No. If the opponent resist his shoulder, wrist, elbow, neck will break. The moves look choreographed? It's only because people practice them over and over and over. It become a reflex. As simple as that. Know what you're talking about before bitching. Dumbass.
By Najolmirr [Affiliate User] 1224713694 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removehave you ever actually been attacked in 'real life'??? if so, what kind of attack was used??? (im not trying to be sarcastic/rude, just want to know for training)
By bb51094 [Affiliate User] 1224711868 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeyeah right, no one is going to atack you this way, everything in aikido looks beautiful, i must admit, but not efective at all in the real life.
By penpen320 [Affiliate User] 1224481305 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removei think i know whar you want to say. sure your chance of taking a "criminal" down is higher than before, but it depends on the "criminals" intention. it could "just" be robbery but what if you have to deal with someone who wants to murder you...
By fryboitah [Affiliate User] 1224286607 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removedidn't say i knew alot said i knew enough to take them down easier than with out knowing it and i can do it with out risking harm to them or myself
By OriOn2965 [Affiliate User] 1224266392 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveHaving been in a public demonstration like that, I can tell you that nothing there was preplanned. The moves look choreographed, because they train like that on a daily basis. Neither person in the second demonstration knew exaclty what the other one was going to do, I assure you. That's what Jiyuwaza is all about.
