Wow, hostility when I wasn't even being insulting. Shows that no matter what you say SOMEONE on the internet will have a go at you, =/

And why should you care about looking up at everyone? You must be pretty vain if that's all you care about. Surely you should be focusing on more important things like at least being fortunate enough to still be alive. If I were in your position, I doubt I'd give a damn about people being higher up than me, ._.

People in wheel chairs will have FREEDOM of movements, and INDEPENDENCE. Bless Argomedtec and the guy who invented it (by the way, he's also in a wheel chair).

Try sitting in a wheelchair for one day, let alone eight years, asshole and see how you feel. Looking UP at everyone, have people look at you and feel sorry for you. You have no F**king clue. I want one of these bad - I'm paralyzed from the chest down and it ain't been fun.

  • Because looking up ...

Because looking up at someone makes one instinctively feel smaller and thus "inferior" to the other. Natural instinct.

  • In one of the other ...

In one of the other videos for this thing the developer (I think) says that being a grown-up who is always at the eye level of children can become hard on your psyche, or something like that. I wouldn't know, not being confined to a wheelchair myself. But if paralyzed people feel it restores some diginity, hey man, I believe them! :)

Incredible. If the technology is at this point now, and now other countries' physical therapists groups can examine it...imagine how amazing this device will be in another ten years.

  • How does being ...

How does being paralyzed cause you to lose your dignity? You can't exactly be mocked for having been crippled to the point of not walking. It's not like it says you're weak, it just says that you're not made of metal.

I can see how this would raise your self-esteem SOMEWHAT, although having to wear a metal exoskeleton ALL DAY would still put a bit of a downer on you. Still, it's the thought that counts. I like it, =D

Most of the people who can walk have no dignity, health, inclusion, and self-esteem so what can you do for them?
