Yeah I agree. Radiohead at one point or another get compared to any alternative act because they have covered so many different genres and styles over the years. Their versatility draws these comparisons.

and i agree - Radiohead and Sigur Ros are different beasts...Radiohead is far more versatile, for starters.

That was my initial reaction too, but now I'm of the opinion that Thom's soaring voice is a more than adequate substitute. I just love it.

The vocal melody on "they're not gonna happen" makes all the difference from the '98 version, I think. Awesome.

lol what a cute little arguement. Oh by the way the band is called Sigur Ros and they're from Iceland (I think). To be honest I don't really see the similarities between the two though a lot of people do. Sigur Ros are more like Bjork on Valium hooked up to a drip of Nytol.

just watching an old version of this from 98, I'm glad they sat on it, because that subtle bass line thats added MAKES the track I think (though, it was still beautiful)
