After 2:15 he shows some upgrades to improve the original design, he never claimed that the original idea was his.

The Japanese version is quicker though, I have to admit :P

First off, there is a Japanese video showing how to get the same results without the use of anything, and it's quicker. I use that method and it's great. Second, this video is nothing more than a stolen idea that's been out for years.
