This version is about 70 years old. Sneaked a look at your age, so I'm not surprised you haven't heard it. When I was a kid it was still getting played a lot on radio, and on television variety shows. Do check out some of the other versions.

You think that's bad? I'm 54 & I remember we could ride our bikes (& leave them unlocked & they wouldn't be stolen) to the Saturday Kids Matinee at the old Sunset Theater in So.Dixie Hwy in South Miami. It cost 25 cents to get in. With 75 cents we could get in & buy cokes, popcorn & candy & have change left! Now that would cost at leat $15!!! And your bike wouldn't be there.

Ain't that the truth! SAD but Very Very TRUE! I was in London from Jan 22-28th and 1 pound is $2 US! I was shocked! Last I'd heard it was reversed $1 US equaled 1 pound GB!
