With this design, Shecter Guitars shows that they know the demand for lower tuning and expanded low end needs. While the Schecter Hellraiser C-8 is perfect for that low tuned metal, the EMG pickups are versatile enough to provide punch and clarity for jazz and experimental music as well as thrash. The low F# provides tons of low end beef and the set neck with 26.5 scale keeps the low strings from flubbing out and the sustain solid. The Schecter Hellraiser C-8 is finished in a gorgeous Black Cherry finish with a quilted maple top and abalone Gothic Cross inlays. The body is comfy and the neck is extremely playable even with its wide girth.
