Is there something very slightly wrong with the sound sync or is that just my computer?
Also, while this is certainly accomplished dancing I think that the version of this routine titled "Slavik and Elena (Cha Cha)" and uploaded by simpsdance is somehow more pleasant to watch. I also like the version from WSS.

So does anyone know if Karina has retired for sure then? I was hoping she would at leats find another partner. As much as I would love to see her back with Slavik more than anything I also heard their relationship off the floor was getting pretty bad. :-( Hope to see you on the floor again Karina!

They lack chemistry. There is something amiss. It doesn't take being Donnie Burns to make a comment about someone's dancing. I'm certainly not letting authority limit my freedom of speech, Dancesportfreak.

that's the point! i am not saying they are not technically brilliant. this is dancing, which is suppose to be expression of movement to music. it has a theme to it. in cha-cha-cha, that theme is the flirting between a man and a woman. with the way they are dancing, they may as well dance a samba to this music. this is more central to cha-cha than to make it to final of Blackpool.
