Very nice tribute...I am in the 82nd Airborne and I served in Iraq and let me tell you that everyone takes life for granted until they are at risk of losing it. If you ever see a soldier in uniform while you are out doing things please take the time to shake his/her hand and tell them how much their hard work is appreciated...even if you don't agree with the war.

But then he remembers he JOINED the armed forces, and having no empathy for other people's gonna make everyday AT HOME war for him instead of the life,iberty and pursuit of happiness he was fighting for. Like an old Grandpa man who can tell you it was uphill both ways to school with no shoes, be thankful you made it and don't discount other people's struggles, because you might gripe about your spoiled daughter until she thinks you don't love her, and she gets on drugs to kill the pain, an dies

I got news for ya. I spent 15 months as an intern doing paperwork in a state funded facility in W. Texas to "help" these men reset their gears after coming home. Before I left in 06, 4 out of 180 registered ate a bullet and a large remainder took their aggressive postal skills out on the family. Don't tell ME I don't know what this is about. It runs a hell of a lot deeper than any fluffy youtube video or what you care to ever acknowledge.

If coming home is such a dissapointment that this is all you see then you have no business being a soldier. Losing touch with your country, it's freedoms and your own family is nothing to ask praise for.
