This is not native American chanting, but the 'joik' of Europe's last indigenous population, the Sámi people (aka Laplanders). The man joiking is from Kárášjohka in northern Norway. The Sámi joik is Europe's oldest surviving vocal tradition.

Virigin Record is facing litigation for IP rights violation. They have used the music without the singer's permission, and falsely portrayed it as native American.

The lyrics is a personal Sami joik "Normo Jovvna", about a person called "John Normo".

Beautiful just beautiful I love how it shows the connection between the Native people to the 4 leggeds and winged ones. I would love to see more connection with Nature and with all races showing we see no color and no religion we respect all people. Why I say this is because I know if anyone can do this you can.
