This train, which is operated by MARC (Maryland Area Rail Commuter) was leaving the Silver Springs Station in Silver Springs, MD.

I had no idea that MARC is also working with AmTrak because when I brought a ticket from Baltimore's Penn Station, the woman asked me for my ID. I was thrown off because why would I need to show my ID when buying a ticket. That's AmTrak's policy and I guess AmTrak provides the tickets to ride MARC. Vewry interesting, huh?

Also, check out that bus terminal below. You can't see much in this video but it's a great terminal to watch buses coming in and going out every two seconds during the rush hour. Exciting stuff there! Enjoy!

    MARC is partly owned by Amtrak and CSX. Amtrak runs the Penn Line and CSX runs the Camden and Brunswick Lines. The reason why MARC tickets are printed on Amtrak tickets is because MTA contracted to Amtrak to run the service as well as CSX to run the other lines. Penn Line crews are Amtrak and Camden/Bruns. Line crews are CSX.
