    Defenders rule. I have a 110 diesel (1987 ex-RAF) and have been in all sorts of environments with it. Quite civilised (for what it is) on the road as well and great for towing. Try not to use the difflock, prefer to learn how not to get stuck. Plan ahead, get out & wade through the mud first if you're unsure. AND you can get 30mpg if you're really careful on the road.
