You misunderstood my words or simply you are not able to read properly. I am not a supporter of meth, but those videos are considered most of the time like movies (= not reallity. And indeed they are not reallity, but that's a matter of sociology of communication...). Thinking that videos like these can produce a sort of reaction see=not use, it's just a pathethical illusion. As for the rest, the fact that i am saying i like doing stupid things is only a personal, poetical, invention of yours.

but doesn't these videos teach that doing meth for the reason of having to feel "special".. appearing brave or cool... being bored or lonely lead to deadly consequences?? or better yet, since it seems you suggest it lets not show what can happen to you on meth to children...it's education...it affects and changes the point of view on most people...unfortunately there is still a few - like yourself - that will be willing to do dumb things that you were told not to

Generally speaking, for different reasons...they could be all that stupid reasons that make a human beeing (expecially a young one) behave like a fool: 1) desire to feel "special", 2) to appear brave or cool towards other ppl or girl or boys 3) boredom 4) loneliness...you choose.

When i was 13 i remember i watched on tv loads of ads against car speed and yes, they scared the hell out of me (all those ads in which stupid guys go really fast with their cars and finish to crash against a wall...etc...) and probabilly i sweared to myself: "i'll never pass the speed limit in the streets in my whole life", but still i grown up and for different reason i went too fast several times so far...

well if you pay attention to the characters in each of these videos, they are intended for a younger audience...when i lived in az my niece was telling me that she was watching these one day on tv and it freaked her out...she's 14...so, yes they are useless to the older adult but for the generation that is about to go into high school or middle school its an excellent way of preventing them from using the drug

Those kind of videos can be as shoking as they want, but i think unfortunatelly they will always be useless: they can only convince a guy- who doesn't has the least intention to use meth- not to use meth.
BUT if someone is determined to try it or to use it, he will do it eventually and none of those videos can prevent him to do so.
Prevetion in this case can't be the cure (expecially if you want to use films to prevent it).
