  • You can not blame ...

You can not blame the shortness and complexity of shrinking Jane Austen's Novel Pride and Prejudice into a movie only an hour and a half long). If you want anything done accuratly you have to do hours and hours of movies. So they way that the movie symbollically showed the changes were astounding condensing and compressing scence. Some parts are rushed though, but that's why I can watch this happily. More calmly done, as if they knew that time was on their side.

  • Agreed - the ...

Agreed - the language is so contagiously intoxicating. I often catch myself "whisper reading" through an Austen book simply because the words are so utterly divine to my ears...it's magical. And yes, Mr. Darcy, even your poorly executed proposals are rendered harmonious poetry to my 21st century reality. It would take all that I have to resist those extraordinary words =)
