Exactly. The nothing box is when you see him doing something with no purpose. Bending a paperclip, balancing a pen, or doing nothing at all. His body may be moving but his mind is not there.

There are biological differences between a mans brain and a womans brain! These differences affect not only cognitive skills but visual as well. Pehaps it would be prudent to do your research before making a comment.

Actually, having studied neuroscience for quite some time, there ARE structural and functional differences between men and women. It has nothing to do with people being sexist or trying to keep anybody bound to constrictive roles or stereotypes. There are truly differences.

Perhaps men and women are different (as supported by as differing sources as The Bible and Time Magazine - "Why Are Men and Women Different?" Jan. 20, 1992) In fact, I would even say that, in this context, this is helping, as this is part of a marriage seminar intended to help husbands and wives understand each other better.

While I first want to point out that this is obviously humor and is funny because we are all living with those social constraints, I also want to agree with you 100%, that this is not helping. There are some hormonal differences between woman and men and some significant cultural differences (that we could change if we wanted to) but the idea that there are structural differences in the brain is really perpetuating a total myth.

I believe the "certain kind of person" and "conformity" to which you refer are that men and women are coming from a traditional, heterosexual background (ie. most people). If I may be so bold, judging from your user id and profile, I can see why you might find this video so offensive.
