I love this race but in your information you say nick symmonds is oregon grown when he is actually from Idaho. He went to high school at Bishop Kelley High in Boise.

Nick Symmonds by far the most entertaining runner. THATS MY DAWG. Disappointing last year in Osaka but maybe this is his year.

Nick isn't Oregon grown. He's from Boise, Idaho. He just went to college in Oregon, and lives there now. But who cares? They're going to Beijing!!!

Yes, Christian Smith is not a born, raised Oregonian. But if you ask him, it was living and training in Track Town USA that got him to the Olympics.

just an observation, Andrew Wheating ran the entire second 400m in lane-2. he sure is fun to watch!

Fantastic race. Nick Symmonds looking powerful in putting up a new personal record. Looks to be peaking at the right time! Wheating looking like a young phenom that has room to get better (which is scary). Christian Smith is a great story after surviving a burst appendix 1.5 years ago. Some serious desire in that dive.
