Part 2 of 4 of the telenovela.
Maximiliano Malvado (Shrujal Joseph) is in love -- with money. Above all things, material and sentimental, he values the dollar. It is with the drive to make more money that he successfully defends some of the world's worst criminals -- and drains them for all they're worth, by hook or by crook.
A month after Malvado wins the highly publicized war crimes trial of General Victoriano (Jacob Turner), he is approached by the film industry's fastest rising star; Francesa (Laure Marsac) who has been defamed by a popular magazine, is seeking a libel suit against the publication. Malvado takes the case hoping to not only earn his salary, but to nab some of Francesa's vast wealth as well.
Shortly after Malvado accepts the case, however, Francesa catches the "happily-married" counsellor in a compromising situation with his secretary, Catalina (Stephanie Wenning). Francesa, whom Malvado earlier had propositioned and blackmailed, sees this as an opportunity to do some of her own arm-twisting.
Except the plan backfires - Malvado hires an old friend to have Francesa murdered.
It is a decision that Malvado will come to regret.
A decision that will turn Maximiliano Malvado's world upside-down.
A decision that will test the boundaries of fidelity, morality and friendship.
With dozens of twists and turns, Una Mosca en el Pote de Miel is a stunningly portrayed combination of gritty drama and carefully selected humor that leaves the audience on the edge of their seats.
Note: The preceding description may have exaggerated in some areas. As in, the acting isn't that great, nor is the camera work. And memorizing lines in a foreign language is difficult. So get off my ass.
