Don't know what to say..but I fell little bad about this. We can't do anything without Russian help. Each and every part in our technology is built with russian help in someway or the other. I don't when we can come with our own design without anyones help..

This nuke sub could prove another "Baans" - (bamboo) to Pakistan.

Pak can't nearly afford a arms race. Takes years to create technology for a nuc sub. There's no way the 5 nations + India in the world with the tech will give or sell that to pak.

sounds good man, but I hope you realize the Russians want nothing more than money. They have sold to China, India, and Pakistan. Don't forget they turned their backs on India during the Sino-Indian war in the 60's. The U.S. had to help India to keep China away. There is no support in politics, there is only one winner.

Look at our neighbours, they were predominantly under military rule n where r they 2day?
Our democratic system may not be perfect, but it is that same system that has planted a flag on the Moon. Very few countries r growing @ India.
When we spend billions in Dfens other sectors like social development r denied those funds. Hence we need 2 be careful how we spend our money, else we will be another P'stan or USSR. Major threat 2 India is internal (maoists etc.), which is due 2 lack of developmt.
