It just shows people can be duped easily with technical words. It doesn't have anything to do with the environment any more than the thiefs who are responsible for the current real estate fiasco.

We did the same thing while working in a university once. Labled bottles as "di hydrogen oxide". The environmental and safety inspectors went balistic during a routine inspection, demanding to see the MSDS (material safety data sheet). In my opinion, anyone involved in environmental issues, even those with educations in the field, are blinded by their ideology.
