What about the 1998 Al Qaeda bombing two U.S. embassies in Africa?

There were four. Two were flown into the World Trade Center towers, one into the Pentagon, and one crashed into a Pennsylvanian field when a number of the passengers bravely overcame the hijackers and prevented the plane also crashing into another target, probably the White House, and causing a much greater loss of life.

More of our people have died since nine eleven than on that day. That's just our people. Ridiculous. Absolutely sadly ridiculous.
Look at the state we're in now. Just take a look around. Unbelievable that some people are still so blind and so deaf to what's been going on.

Bin Laden saw his theory of U.S. weakness vindicated during the Clinton era. In 1993, Islamic radicals bombed the World Trade Center. The Clinton administration did little. In 1996, Muslim terrorists attacked the Khobar Towers facility on a U.S. base in Saudi Arabia. No response. In 1998, Al Qaeda bombed two U.S. embassies in Africa. Clinton responded with a few perfunctory strikes in Sudan and Afghanistan. These did no harm to Al Qaeda & only strengthened the perception of American ineptitude.

In 2000, Islamic radicals bombed the U.S. destroyer Cole. Again, the Clinton team failed to act. By his own admission, Bin Laden concluded that his suspicion of American weakness was correct.

Four planes into the World Trade Center would have been NOTHING compared to what terrorists would have done next if Clinton would have been in office 9/11! However, this fact is something that no one will ever really know because we have been safe on this soil for over 7 years; a credit I give Bush.

The "blood for oil" thing? If he were trading blood for oil we would've already seized Iraq's oil fields and let the rest of the country go to hell

Instead, he owned up to the fact that the intelligence was faulty. The rest of the world thought Saddam had weapons of mass destruction, same as Bush. Regime change in Iraq was official US policy before Bush came into office. Clinton established that policy.

The war was a mistake many say. What else could have possibly been the last straw if not 9/11 to FIGHT? The hell with what the world thinks of us. When they have four planes fly into buildings where people jump to their deaths, make heart wrenching calls home to moms, dads, husbands, wives before they know they are going to DIE...only then do I want to hear what the rest of the world thinks about this country and George W. Bush because after 9/11, I really don't care.

I didn't say other countries don't give money. America has given the most money and humanitarian aid. and no no it's not arrogance it is pride in my country.

you know your country isn't the only rich country in the world with the ability to help other countries in bad times. Arrogance is something that many western countries do have too much from. Including the one I come from. No country is perfect.
