Helen was cute back then, and truly talented with a distinctive voice. I just saw the movie Airport 1975 where she played the Singing sister. Damn, aging really S**ks !

Of the fabulous Helen's many songs & hits from the 1970s, I think this is definitely one of my very favorites.She was a very talented singer & I fondly recall hearing her hit songs on the radio back when I was a kid. I remember seeing her singing on t.v. shows & my older sister had a couple of 45's & albums, which I liked as much as she did.Great song!Great singer!

I love this song - but I feel it also has a different meaning..... more on how conflicted she is on how to "view" him. She loves him, and those feelings are partially romantic - so she doesn't know how to handle it as he is obviously the Son of God.

Sorry - you're mistaken. Have you ever seen the musical, Jesus Christ Superstar? That's where this song originated. It's a ballad by Mary Magdalen....singing about Jesus. Not Mary, Jesus' mother. If you listen to the lyrics - you can clearly see it.
