    BoA wearing a kimono wouldn't work, because she's closer to Japanese than Leah is. BoA has been around for quite a while, and she speaks fluently.
    Leah is popular in Japan because she's that gaijin girl- exotic, in a way. And her lack of speech skills only add to her cuteness. Opposite thinking of asian girls in western countries.
    And I am NOT a hardcore Leah fan.
