2008 Buell 1125R - Sportbike First Ride

It does show a butt ugly bike

well the wait is over, 09 buells are coming with "improved" fuel management and other changes to rectify some problems. i just saw the 1125CR... im selling my XB12 for that one!

This video is pretty useless because you don't say a word about the bike.

I rode this bike, the XB9 and the XB12 at the Buell demo day last weekend. Buell needs to abandon the archaic Harley motors and utilize this Rotax motor on all their machines. This bike S**ks up the streetfighters and blows them out its tailpipe. The riding position is too agressive for my tastes and the throttle spring will give you Popeye arm but otherwise this bike is spot on. Cheers!

go for the duke.. its never a good idea to go for the first iteration of anything.. am sure its a stonker of an engine.. wait for buell to upgrade this one.. am sure tat one will set the roads on fire..

ya know, i kind of dig it, i got a 2004 R1 now, and was looking to get a KTM 990 superduke as a second bike, but this buell is bad, i dig the rotax power plant

ya, but i'll race you, me on a 1125r, and you on a hayabusa or the zx14, and if the track is real curvey, i would say put you money on me, but if we are doing a 16 mile long race no turns then you will win with you i4. the buells have more than enough torq for most applictions.

It's a nice bike, but for the money a hayabusa or zx14 give a LOT more power and performance.

Sure is ugly, but as far as form follows function it is the most fairest of them all!
