    Theres nothing wrong with using film songs in their shabads, as long as they are preaching thr gurbani 2 the sangat, thats what matters. Alot of ppl say that professional kirtani jathas are usings songs from films which they do, but theres nothing wrong with that, as long as they sing in classical raags and recite the gurbani, thats what makes them professional kirtanis

Some are smart to mix various tunes so that one cannot pick the tune.
