1905 German band organ at the Myrtle Beach Pavilion playing on 30 September 2006 during the final day of park operations, the Last Ride celebration. The organ placard claims some of the cardboard programming goes back to 1905, but this is Ob La Di Ob La Da. The band organ is the frist thing I recall from the Pavailion in the 1960s. Surprisingly the end figurines are partially topless.

    Yes, it is The Beatles Ob La Di Ob La Da. Obviously not from the original 1905 program.

    I saw and heard the organ again on 4 July 2007 at its new home. It sounded fine, but the end figurines were not twirling, and there are no seats like in the old location -- you have to stand in the way of everyone walking by to listen.

    yea I dont know if it still plays or not, I was there this past weekend and 2 weeks before that and never hear it play...they got some kids rides and the flying swings and the pirate ship and the catepillar, cant remember what else

    YES it was moved to broadway at the beach along with several of the rides from the pavilion! i took some photos of this when i was there several weeks ago.
