Some believe barcode tattoos to be a sign of the apocalypse speculated about in the Christian Bible which states people will "receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark of the beast". I personally do not agree with the mythological connection, but imagined what the sinister mark might look like.     The reason Christians/Jews think the barcode is the mark of the beast is because the three bars, on the left, middle, and right that dont have numbers under them are actually 6's. That's 666. "The mark of the Beast" "Man's number" as said in the book of Revelations. It even says people wont be able to buy or sell without that mark.
