IV insertion is not aesptic, but is done by CLEAN teahnique. But yes, after you prep the site, the site should not be touched again before insertion of the catheter.

Good, but you are not following strict aseptic technique. After applying iodine, you are touching the area with your finger. Note you have touched the bed cloths and unsterile area of patients skin. Dorsal parat of the hand is colonized with MRSA, so please wath this video and learn. I will be posting a video response soon
