dear elrooh, before speaking about the loss of the mirage, i saw 1 of your picture about the mirage f-1 coded 4014 i knew this plane very well. this f-1 was used for weapons testing in France in 1980. once in Iraq, this plane was used by various pilots of No 79 squadron for a total of 14 kills in 1981 & 82. at least just 5 were confirmed.major Moukhalad abdoul karim claimed 11 of these kills. i know today it was a liar.the last time i talked to him was in 2003.i'm very sad to see this f1 like it

i can't tell who i am for the moment, dear elrooh, just i'm french and very close from the iraqi pilots (not with saddam).and of course all the stories are true. another storie about a top iranian pilot downed by IRAF: the most controversial pilot: captain & later major abbas BABA'IE (posthumously promoted in rank to LT-Col). in fact he was the successor of col agha. he was trained on f-14 in USA with the 1st batch of iranian pilots. he downed 1 mig 21, 1 su 22 & first of all, the 1st mirage.

Are you an Iraqi MIG23 Pilot!cause i know most of them..OK>what about if i tell you they were call you the (Camel Guys)!!!!cause you were jumping on the runway when you landing the MIG23..and the Helmet that you wearing is not the Russian 1>(was a French made)!!!!!

well,well,well. dear elrooh, i hope you like my other question about the falcon 50. like i said, it was a big surprise for iraq this 11th august 1984 to shoot a f-14 especially flown by this pilot. in fact the col all-e-agha was deputy co tfb 8 (khatami) & commander of combat operations. his loss was strongly felt within the iranian A F. he didn't see the floggers climb from 600 to 3000 m behind him. the floggers with the new sapheer-23ml radar (high lark) fired 2 r-60m (aphid) missiles.

huh huh..what a story..an Iraqi MIG23 with a 15Km Radar range, shot down an Iranian F14 with it's huge Radar range and 200Km A2A.M!

great pictures. u.s soldiers didn't know the advantage to preserve the iraqi air force planes. it was the most powerful arab air force at this time with the best arabs pilots for the mig 23 flogger. the 11 august 1984 an iranian f-14 flown by col hashem all e agha and 1st lt mohammad rostampur was shot down by iraf mig 23ml from the 79 squadron killed both pilots.

an IQI MIG21 F.Pilot (Abbas Eleibi)were toke0ff for intecepting some F14s, he succeeded to downed two F14s,N he chased the third 1,N he notice that he whent out 0f emmo, but he couldn't wait much longer, so he just crashed him self with the F14.
He sacrificed him self 4Iraq.

mig-21s remain one of the most reliable air platforms to this day... imsure so long as their avinoics r upgraded they can still be a capable armourment in any air fleet.

My Friend hes the Best F.Pilot ever like hes Father,he had 1500 hours just on the MIG21,N he says U must B agood Pilot so U can Fly this Bird,realy it's not an easy Jet 2fly on..hes a MIG25 Pilot.

(the answer)the Iraqi Old Pilots specialy the 1whos trained in Russia they know what the MIG21's awesome capability,it's not just a rocket with Wings..BUT the new Iraqi Pilots the 1whos trained lately in Iraq in the begining of the 90s,they didn't have a good skills,so they didn't know how 2fly this monster..
