This is an excerpt from an October 30, 2007 telecast. Dottie sang with a track taken from her new CD that is due out in the Spring of 2008, that features (recently deceased) Porter Wagoner reciting some of the lines - very effectively. Emotion overcomes Dottie at the end, but of course the CD will be studio-perfect. Jesus called Dottie's spirit and soul home about 2AM on May 11, 2008, when her tour bus crashed into a roadside embankment in Lawrence county, Missouri.

    In 1986, I lost the three Rambo albums that I had in a house burglary. An acquaintance of mine knew Dottie Rambo and mentioned my loss to her. Three week later, I received a package with every album the Rambos had every cut and a note from Ms. Rambo telling me how sorry she was and that she hoped these recordings helped.

    I was stunned when I saw the news last night. I am not a christian, but I can say with all my heart that I will miss this sweet, caring woman. Goodbye, Dottie. I love you.
