SurferBoy8708, you are wrong (don't want to say that you are a liar), this is NOT what the judges said about Kelly and Carrie. They (especially Simon) said that Kelly is the #1 Idol because she was the first and made the show "American Idol" popular. This is very different from what you are telling us.

IMO BOTH are the best. Kelly has a perfect voice, I definitely prefer Carrie because she is the whole package. But honestly: Ruben Studdard, Fantasia and David Cook are great as well.

yes KELLY CLARKSON is way outta carries league,when all the previous winners came back to sing idol 2007,simon,paula and randy on a interview after the show they said kelly clarkson was the best and simon said kelly made the rest look like amatuers and yes including carrie,he said kelly was in another league then them hahahaha,KELLY WINS
