  • In my division we ...

In my division we had 6 guys who couldnt swim and they just went to the pool everyday untill they could pass. Its not hard to pass you only jump 15 meters, swim 50 yards and do a 5 minute face down float. Just remember to stay calm and most of the people training you are former Seals, SWCC, and Air Rescue (wet) so nothing is going to happen to you. silentdream05 is right though. If you have time do some classes now to save you the stress relief, really I thought that the whole boot was a joke!

This was a good video showing what it is like. I was there but left on my 5-5 day with an ELMS. The PT is not hard and you dont do a lot so it works as a stress reliever. If you volunteer for SF like I did you get very little sleep. Pool side 5 am. Lights out at 10, 2 hour watch, and ironing. Learn to pay attention to what they say, balls to ass, you get right on the heels of the person infront of you. Learn to iron, and your ranks. Remember that it is only 8 weeks. • My best advice is ...

My best advice is take a swim class now. If you don't know how to swim in boot camp, that's alright but, you'll be behind the game. They have courses that will teach you how to swim but, it'd be in your best intrest to learn now. Good luck!
