  • They actually may ...

They actually may have inadvertantly created a spark inside the container itself from the wiring they used. The connections should always remain submerged so there is less chance of that. I am no expert though so do your own research.

Theoretically the water keeps a break in the chain. The first explosion shows this does not always work. You should always also use a good spark/flame arresIn the case of the large plexiglas container exploding, the guys believed they had too much pressure.

I think the person who posted this should at least EXPLAIN WHY these accidents / incidents happened, even if it was a lie, so that people who are using this technology or are planning to had the chance to debate on it. Even I can make an innocent-looking lighter explode BY NOT HANDLING IT PROPERLY. But that's just an analogy. I treat HOD systems with a lot more care than lighters.

The dorks with the exploding Cell were not lucky
to not got harmed; they were irresponsible fools.
Always use at least one bubbler in series with your Cell for safety. Flame arrestors are notorious NOT working with hydroxy because the high flamespeed.

  • HHO is the Oxygen ...

HHO is the Oxygen and Hydrogen that breaks down from the metal and water. Since it is preportioned exactly the ideal percentages for the explosions, it is very dangerous. A bubbler is used to try and attempt to keep sparks or flames from running back up the hose to the container that is used to create the HHO.
