This French Army "Puma" helicopter crashed in 1999 near Les Mueaux, Fr. during training of GIGN anti-terrorist forces.

the torque reaction from the damage to the tail rotor blades on landing casued the spin it wernt a flat spin because it aint fixed wing thats when lift is lost on the aerofoil during a yawing motiion of the aircraft. pilot did amaizngly well to save tat how he did

no one died it was on the news actually there was only minor injuries and hes not a shitty pilot like that one dude said the tail rotor gave out thats the only reason he went into a spin

Yeah it's hard to tell if he made it or not. Might have been better taking his chances in the chopper.
