dave98503:sure! I´m not the only one, you´ll be surprised the amount of people around the world who share our opinions. Sooner or later the US will do it, the ONU already voted unanimesly to lift the american embargo, it was an international hit in the american face to say out loud that they don´t agree with that stupidity, and they recognize, respect, admire Cuba as a soberan country. So it´s just a matter of time, remember,it would be another shameful chapter of the american international policy.

  • I agree,we all feel ...

I agree,we all feel greatfull for not suffering the terrible natural fenomenoms these people have suffered, hoping to be blessed and never being part of that experience. But there is always something we can do,and that is help, we can organize and start colecting clothes, potable water, durable food and medicine to send them to the International Red Cross.Haiti needs all the help we can give. In venezuela, we have a department to colect domestic donations not only to help Cuba, but Haiti as well.

dave98503: Absolutely!! yesterday, Cuba started to receive international help from countries that share a great polítical and economical relations with Cuba like Spain, Colombia, Argentina, Venezuela, Chile, China, Ecuador and El Salvador, it was just amazing to see people working so organized to select and locate the donations. They are expenting the arrival of more flights from Russia and Venezuela the next days. As you can see, Cuba is not alone, they are doing just great!! Viva Cuba!!

  • Are you kidding me? ...

Are you kidding me? My grandfather lives in Isla de Pinos (juventud) Nobody is helping them. Cuba has never been hit by a hurricane like this one during Castros 50 years. They cant handle this emergency. Ike is going to be worse. Nobody gets killed because of the forced evacuations. But they cant handle the aftermath. If Ike hits hard along the North Coast it will bring the dictatorship to its knees. They will not recover without charity from Americans and Cuban Americans.

  • God's true children ...

God's true children automatically seek him. Any atheist that wishes to stick to his own beastly manly image and views either needs more time, or is just not chosen of god, and will return to the dust as they are.

It said it'd happen in the bible:

"Man would become lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God."

In a LOUD VOICE: "Fear God, and give glory to he that made the heavens and the earth, and all that dwelleth within."

Jesus is the way. No one comes to the father but through him.
