People get married because they're stupid enough to think they know the other person pretty well. They don't. Anyone who's been married for 20 years can tell you, you don't know your spouse AT ALL on your wedding day, compared to what you'll know later.

Also, women need to have a big party. A wedding justifies a woman's life. It shouldn't be that way, but it is. They don't feel complete until they "capture" a mate.

I love how everything has been increased since he told that opener set on his HBO special(although I don't know which came first, in this case) -- It goes from 'half' the marriages to '3 out of 4' of them, and from like 18 bucks for brunch to what was it, 56? Haha. Love the exaggeration(of course, it's because it's Bill Burr doing it, whereas most comedians couldn't do that more than twice and keep getting laughs out of me).
