Miss "Evaretha" Cassidy!! Sends chills. What a gift gone too soon. I love her rendition of this song. I wish I could have met her. She's as cute as a button with that powerful voice. She was a great visual artist too!

If I had only one song to demonstrate what a great singer Eva Cassidy was, it would be this one! She raises the bar so high, I have trouble listening any other singer. By the way, the "Blues Alley" videos on youtube are from the DVD "Eva Cassidy Sings", so far available only in Europe, zoned for Europe.
Software is available to convert to a U.S. format and its definately worth the effort. The video and audio is very good particularly when played on a large screen TV and a good sound system.

I'm so glad that some people have managed to record her live performances on video. Eva Cassidy's singing is just amazing, and take note -- she had a bad cold during that time! Thank you for posting.

I am a fanatic of Celine Dion voice, but from now NOV 04 2007, It is official. To me Eva's has the most perfect voice(instrument).

What can I say! I am simply captivated!

I think Eva would have been pleased by the posting of this video which shows some footage of her longtime friend and collaborator, Chris Biondo. In her Blues Alley album she wrote: "A special thank you to Chris Biondo for taking me under his wing, persuading me to sing at open mikes and believing in me." Amen.

Thanks for this posting. It's fun to see Eva's bantering with her band and the audience. Her performance of this song is phenomenal. What a voice! As a friend recently said about her: "She inhabits the song". I love that. So true.
