Basic AK Introduction, AK Operation

Good video, man. I made the mistake of buying my WASR before I knew much about quality testing. Even after I dress it up, that magazine wobble still owns me *sigh*.

Now that I've got a gas-piston AR I don't use the AK much anymore, but S**t if ain't a fun rifle to shoot!

I recommend that you subscribe to the shotgun news (found at any book store or library), that is the best place for AK type rifles (or any rifle for that matter).

I've seen them for about $350 lately. About as cheap as you can get into a high capacity military type semi auto rifle. You need to give it a good inspection. WASRs have problems with quality control. Especially make sure that the front sight isn't canted and check how much "magazine wobble" there is. IM me if you have further questions.

if anybody can answer this question it would really help me out. about how much money will a in good condtion WASR 10 cost at a pawn shop or gun store? thanks.

Thanks, I'm an AR man mostly, but the WASR is a good rifle for the money invested. WASR+vest+6 spare mags and 1K of ammo = a basic mid level AR alone.

I wish my gas tube lever would open that easily. I have to use some pliers, or the multi tool that comes with the rifle to get it open.
