This is a comparison between the powerfull Nathan Airchime K5LA Locomotive horn (sorry using an electronic solenoid valve instead of the traditional manual valve)and the huge Doran-Cunningham 6-A Ship horn.
The K5LA is mounted under the rear section of the XB. The 6-A is in the rear hatch facing the rear of my XB. This is just a quick comparison between these two awesome horns.Filmed from approx 400 feet away to cut out distortion from the loud ship horn.The volume has to be way up to hear the K5 in the beginning of the video. This gives some idea on how loud the ship horn is...
